BØJE (pronounced Boh-yuh) is considered to be the original form of the surname Boyer. Matt Boyer, luthier and founder at BØJE guitars has been playing guitar (most notably with Sun Kil Moon, Great American Canyon Band, Will Hoge, along with his own solo projects) for almost 40 years, while being a designer for most of his professional/day job life. He has combined these two passions into creating instruments that are, both, fresh and familiar in design; while unique and comfortable in their playability.
